The cable network has acquired the ad-supported rights to the four movies in a package deal with Summit Entertainment which also includes The Hurt Locker, Push and Nicolas Cage thriller Knowing.
The deal will see FX run Twilight in late 2011, with New Moon following in 2012. The third instalment, Eclipse, has been slated for an early 2013 premiere, while production on Breaking Dawn is yet to be greenlit.
The films, which star Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, will first air in their pay cable window on Showtime, which struck a deal with Summit last year.
