P. Diddy 'keen for 30 Rock cameo'

P. Diddy is reportedly eager to exhibit his comedy skills with a cameo role on hit US show 30 Rock.

The hip-hop star is said to love the Tina Fey-created series and has become friends with 30 Rock actors Tracy Morgan and Jack McBrayer.

Contactmusic quotes McBrayer as saying: "He (P. Diddy) is a big fan of 30 Rock and he's like, 'Can I be in the show?' and I was like, 'What if we played best friends?'"

The rapper - real name Sean Combs - has previously appeared in 2008 TV movie A Raisin in the Sun and crime drama CSI: Miami.
