Barton 'fuming over scrapped series'

The actress had landed the lead role as a supermodel in the fashion-based drama series, which was executive produced by Ashton Kutcher. However, network The CW axed the programme following disappointing ratings.
Barton has now said that The Beautiful Life should have been given time to find its followers.
She told Heat: "It was all so political. They didn't give it a chance. I'm sure it would have found its audience because it was a great show and was really high-fashion.
"It takes a while for stuff to find a following. I feel more bad for the other girls in it, because it deserved to be seen."
