T-Bone Burnett joins 'Tough Trade'

Grammy-winning musician T-Bone Burnett has joined Epix pilot Tough Trade as executive producer and executive musical producer.

The series centres on three generations of a dysfunctional Nashville music dynasty called The Tuckers. It stars Lucas Black, Cary Elwes, Sam Shepard and Azita Ghanizada.

Tough Trade marks producer-songwriter Burnett's first venture into television. He oversaw the soundtracks to Walk the Line, The Big Lebowski and won five Grammys for his work on O Brother, Where Art Thou?.

Epix is to premiere the series in 2010.
