Hasbro, 'Sesame Street' sign ten-year deal
Published Monday, Dec 7 2009, 20:56 GMT | By Aaron Broverman

The deal allows Hasbro to make toys and games based on the Sesame Street characters for a decade.
Though the companies didn't comment on a possible collaboration for an upcoming kids cable network operated by Hasbro and Discovery Communications, The Hollywood Reporter speculates that the toy contract is a precursor to such an announcement.
According to the two firms, a range of Hasbro products featuring Elmo, Big Bird, Abby Cadabby and Cookie Monster, among others, will be available beginning in 2011.
