'Arrested Development' not cancelled

Comedy series Arrested Development is not on the verge of being cancelled, FOX entertainment president Gail Berman said Friday.
The network has apparently been besieged with mountains of emails from worried fans amid speculation that the show would be ending its second season early.
"Thank you for your e-mail and your passionate support of 'Arrested Development,'" said Berman in an email to fans. "While the show has finished production for its second season, contrary to the rumours you may have heard or read on the internet, it is NOT cancelled."
Rumours began after news emerged that new animated series American Dad would be taking over Development's Sunday night timeslot from the start of May.
"We at FOX love 'Arrested Development,'" added Berman, "and we look forward to having the Bluth family back on FOX in the future - hopefully for many years."
