Bamber "loved" 'Dollhouse' guest stint

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, the 36-year-old British actor praised the cast and crew for their work on the now axed sci-fi series.
Bamber made his guest appearance in the first episode of Dollhouse's second season as a bad guy who married Eliza Dushku's Echo.
"It's only the third time I've guested on an American show and its hard to do that because you're stepping into someone else's team," he said.
"But I loved it for three reasons: I was really fascinated to work with Joss Whedon and see how he does things, and also to work with Tahmoh [Penikett] because he's a great friend and I really enjoyed playing the character - it was different for me, playing a bad guy."
He added that while he has not yet watched an episode of Joss Whedon's latest offering, he is still disappointed over Fox's decision to axe it.
"I have to say that I've never seen an episode so I'm probably not the best person to ask. Obviously I'm disappointed for my friend, and I'm disappointed for Joss, but that's the game we're in - if you're not getting the numbers, it's not going to work, is it?"
Bamber currently stars in the UK version of Law & Order, which returns for its second series Monday, January 11 on ITV1.
