Broderick: 'I turned down SATC roles'

Matthew Broderick has revealed that he turned down repeat offers to star alongside his wife Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City.

The couple, who have three children called James, Tabitha and Marion, have never appeared together on TV despite being married for 13 years.

Broderick told Us Weekly magazine: "We did a play together, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, but it's not really something we look for.

"I had a couple of chances when the TV show was on. But I was never free for the right character."
