CNN renews contract with Larry King

CNN has confirmed that it has renewed its contract with talk show host Larry King through 2009.
"I've had a great relationship with CNN. It's my family," King told Variety. "I'm looking forward to many more years with the network."
The new deal has quelled speculation that King would soon be replaced by Nancy Grace, who has been doing wonders for the ratings of CNN Headline News with her new legal show.
Larry King Live, which airs every night at 9pm ET, will have been on CNN for 20 years as of June. CNN is currently celebrating its 25th year of broadcasting.
