Hale, Letscher join Danny Wallace comedy

ABC has signed Chuck's Tony Hale and Eli Stone's Matt Letscher to co-star in upcoming comedy Awkward Situations for Men.

The project, described by The Hollywood Reporter as a "hybrid comedy", was co-written by and stars UK comic Danny Wallace.

The pilot takes its inspiration from Wallace's forthcoming book of the same name, in which his personality and behaviour clash with his new American neighbours.

Hale will play Wallace's friend Will and Letscher will portray the insecure head of a smoothie bar.
