Axe falls on 'Point Pleasant'

Supernatural series Point Pleasant has been cancelled after just seven episodes.
The show, from Buffy producer Marti Noxon, averaged just 4 million viewers across its run on US network FOX.
"Well, it's all true," said Noxon in a post on the official website. "We're cancelled and we're off for good... thanks to those of you who care. It's been a bumpy ride for sure. If you feel inclined you can bug Fox studios to issue the season on DVD. I know they are thinking about it - and you'd get to see all the 'lost' eps, which will be airing overseas. Again - thanks for watching. We had a blast."
The remaining five episodes will be shown on E4 in the UK later this spring.
