Court TV announces revamp
Published Thursday, Mar 31 2005, 00:21 BST | By James Welsh
America's Court TV has announced that it will undergo a major revamp that will result in the channel airing two distinct brands for different dayparts.
The network's daytime courtroom coverage will be known as Court TV News, while its primetime lineup of documentaries and entertainment shows will be known as Court TV: Seriously Entertaining.
The idea of splitting brands is nothing new: on its channel, Nickelodeon uses the "Nick" brand for kids programming during the day and primetime, and switches to "Nick at Nite" for sitcoms later in the evening.
The Court TV revamp will take place later this year.
