New seasons for 'Lost,' 'Housewives,' 'Alias'

US network ABC has given the go-ahead to new seasons for four of its most popular shows.

Included in the order are the breakout hits of this season, Desperate Housewives and Lost, both of which will be back for second runs later in the year.

Cult drama Alias, currently enjoying its highest-rated season ever, has been granted a fifth season in 2005-06 while freshman series Boston Legal will also be returning.
