Axed 'Past Life' actress cast in 'Chase'

Kelli Giddish has landed a lead role on Jerry Bruckheimer's NBC pilot Chase.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress, who played reincarnationist Kate McGinn on the Fox series before it was axed earlier this month, will play Annie Frost, a US marshal who heads up a Texas unit devoted to finding dangerous fugitives.

In other pilot news, Eric Lange and Malcolm-Jamal Warner have joined ABC's True Blue, which stars Buffy's Marc Blucas, and NBC's Kindreds has recruited Ben Chaplin.

Additionally, Domenick Lombardozzi of The Wire fame will feature opposite Laz Alonso in Fox's Breakout Kings.
