Ortiz, Farina added to HBO's 'Luck'

John Ortiz and Dennis Farina have joined the cast of HBO pilot Luck, reports TV Guide.

The project, which revolves around horse racing, will apparently take a "provocative look" at gambling and focuses on a man recently released from jail.

The former inmate teams with Farina's Gus to perfect a scheme involving a racetrack. Turo Escalante (Ortiz) is later recruited to help them with their plan.

Ortiz's previous screen credits include CSI: Miami and The Job, while Farina has starred in In-Laws and Law & Order as Detective Joe Fontana.
