ABC plans ice-dancing reality show

ABC has reportedly teamed up with BBC Worldwide for a new ice-dancing reality show.

The production team behind Dancing With The Stars is working on the format for the programme, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Jane Tranter from BBC Worldwide Productions said: "ABC has become an incredible partner for us - we mirror each other's vision in attaining production excellence and we look forward to taking our relationship to the ice."

She added: "This programme will be a truly unique and exciting experience for their viewers."

The show, which is currently untitled, is expected to debut later this year.
