Sarah Palin show 'won't be salacious'

The producer of Sarah Palin's new television show has insisted that it will not be "salacious".

Mark Burnett, who has worked on Survivor and The Apprentice, told The AP that the programme will focus on Alaska.

He said: "What it's not is a reality show following her around, getting up in the morning or [about] her family and all the salacious stuff."

Burnett is said to have compared the show to Planet Earth and added: "It's being in and experiencing the great charm and beauty of Alaska with Sarah Palin."

Palin has reportedly already met NBC, ABC and Fox to discuss the show.
