The 34-year-old actress, who played Kimber Henry on the recently-dead Tuck, has reportedly been cast as a love interest for Nathan Fillion's character.
Her new alter ego, an actress called Ellie Rose, will apparently meet Castle on the set of a late-night talkshow. The episode is said to be based on NBC's recent Leno/Conan drama.
The instalment will see the Leno-esque host - played by Bobby Mann - murdered. Bill Belamy, Fred Willard, French Stewart and Dan Cortese have also been confirmed as guest stars.
Castle continues Mondays at 10pm on ABC.
