According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 47-year-old actor has been tapped to star opposite Joely Richardson.
Morrow will apparently play a larger-than-life defence attorney called Jimmy who is pitted against Richardson's New York prosecutor Kathryn Pearle.
The casting is in second position to CBS's Numb3rs, which is widely tipped for the axe.
