Brittany Snow joins NBC's 'Kindreds'

Actress Brittany Snow has been cast in the NBC dramedy pilot Kindreds, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The 24-year-old will reportedly play a lead role in the project, produced by Boston Legal creator David E. Kelley.

Snow has signed to portray the assistant to a testy former patent lawyer.

Oscar winner Kathy Bates is said to be eyeing the patent lawyer role.

Snow has appeared in the movies Prom Night and Hairspray.
