'Firefly's Maher in 'Warehouse 13'

Firefly actor Sean Maher has signed to guest star in an upcoming episode of Warehouse 13.

Maher will join fellow Firefly alum Jewel Staite in an instalment scheduled to air in July, reports Sci Fi Wire.

The 34-year-old will portray a man who undergoes an intense physical change after coming into contact with a rare artifact. Staite will play his love interest.

The pair also both appeared in the Firefly feature film spin-off Serenity, directed by Joss Whedon.

Warehouse 13 returns to Syfy with new episodes on July 13.
