Kate Winslet, Guy Pearce for 'Mildred'

According to Entertainment Weekly, the five-hour miniseries is based on a novel of the same name, written by James M. Cain.
The plot follows a mother and daughter as they navigate the hardships of the Great Depression.
Winslet will play the title role while the Memento star will play Monty Beragon.
Evan Rachel Wood is also in the ensemble cast along with Veda Pierce, Melissa Leo, James Le Gros and Brian F. O'Byrne.
