In the latest episode, Luc (Gilles Marini) has four weeks before he is deported back to France due to his visa running out.
Luc finds love with divorcee Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) while rumours are circulating that the pair will marry in the season finale.
A source told RadarOnline that the actor has signed a new deal on the show, meaning that Luc will continue until the end of the season at least.
"Gilles wants to be known for his acting not his brawn. He's very excited that he has this new contract," the insider said.
The new episode, entitled 'FreeLuc.com', airs tomorrow at 9pm on ABC.
