'Numb3rs' finale scores 8.7 million

The sixth season ending averaged 8.74m in the 10pm hour, up 640k on last week's penultimate episode.
Not far behind at the same time was the second instalment of NBC's Dateline, which pulled a respectable 8.29m. ABC meanwhile took 5.58m for 20/20.
Who Do You Think You Are? on NBC interested a decent 7.15m at 8pm, coming second in its slot. Afterwards, the first edition of Dateline took 7.8m.
Ghost Whisperer and Medium were also on the rise for CBS, scoring 7.84m and 8.15m at 8pm and 9pm respectively.
Over on Fox, a repeat of House could only muster 3.1m during the 8pm hour, then Kitchen Nightmares took 4.16m.
ABC's double bill of Supernanny had 4.86m at 8pm, and 4.17m at 9pm. The CW's repeat of America's Next Top Model could only manage 1.76m between 8pm and 9.30pm. A rerun of High Society then brought in 1.07m.
