Steenburgen cast in 'Southern Discomfort'

The project centres on a man whose life is changed when his adult children move back in with him. Steenburgen will play the children's mother, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The 57-year-old won a 'Best Supporting Actress' Oscar in 1980 for her role in Melvin and Howard.
She was last seen in Did You Hear About the Morgans? and The Proposal.
