However, the 22-year-old Scottish actress, who will play new assistant Amy Pond alongside Smith in the upcoming fifth series of Who, revealed that their characters may get close.
"It's fair to say she's attracted to the Doctor," she told Grazia. "But I don't think she's in love with him. She's not this love sick puppy following him around."
