Shiri Appleby, who plays Cate Cassidy in the CW drama, revealed that her alter ego will continue to be tempted by ex-lover Baze, despite her wedding to Ryan fast approaching.
"Ryan is obviously the more together guy, but Baze manages to light her up in a way that no-one else can do," she told DS. I think a nice combination of the two would work well! If I were her though, I'd probably pick Ryan."
Asked if it is inevitable that Cate and Baze will reunite, she replied: "I think it would take them a while to get back to there. We can't forget that Ryan loves her too!"
Appleby added that the season finale, which centres around Cate and Ryan's wedding, is "heartbreaking".
