Christian Slater has been tapped for the lead in a new Fox comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 40-year-old actor, who currently stars in ABC's The Forgotten, will join Trevor Moore in the untitled Adam Goldberg show.

The project focuses on a team of twentysomething geniuses who crack security systems. Slater, who will also serve as a producer on the pilot, will play a gruff ex-military with a checkered past.

Moore will portray the team's intelligence and reconnaissance head, who is described as a womanizer.
