Vernon Kay to host 'Hit Me Baby' on NBC

NBC has picked up ITV's Hit Me Baby One More Time to air over the summer.
UK host Vernon Kay will also be hosting the American version, which starts airing on June 2 at 9pm.
"This exciting new series will reunite the audience with some of their favourite classic musical performers and groups who will play their hits and then compete against each other in an entertaining battle of the bands," said Craig Plestis, senior VP of alternative programming and development at NBC.
The US version of the show will be produced by Granada America.
