The programme, which will air next month, is to feature three contestants battling for a prospective date. However, the trio will have to reveal their secrets and faults if they want to win the prize.
Springer has described the show as "fun, light-hearted" and family-friendly. "I'm like the crazy old uncle. People feel comfortable telling me their secrets, that I won't be judgemental," he said.
He added: "I just keep finding jobs. I'm really lucky and I know that. Being a host is what I'm comfortable doing. I've been doing it forever, joking around with guests, having fun."
The 66-year-old will begin filming Baggage later this week.
