The Napoleon Dynamite actor had the starring role in an upcoming sitcom produced by Will Ferrell. Heder allegedly left the cast just days before production was to begin.
"Comedy Central, Gary Sanchez Productions and Jon Heder have mutually decided to part ways over creative differences with the character", a representative for Heder told Entertainment Weekly. "Jon wishes the show nothing but success, and is very grateful for the opportunity."
Heder was slated to play a computer geek who moves back in with his parents.
The series, which is as yet untitled, co-stars Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz.
