ABC renews dramedy 'Castle'

The dramedy has been on a ratings upswing this year, leading the network to pick it up for another 22 episodes, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Last night's instalment was the show's highest-rated ever (14.5 million viewers). It was also ABC's best scripted ratings performance in the timeslot in 14 years.
Castle stars Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic.
Upon learning the news, Fillion tweeted: "Have you heard? CASTLE has a third season pick up! Cheers to you all for making it happen (sic)."
