Ming-Na: 'Robert Carlyle needs subtitles'
Published Tuesday, Apr 6 2010, 17:18 BST | By Dan French

The 46-year-old actress explained that fans may not understand Carlyle because of his Scottish accent.
The Daily Record quotes her as saying: "There should be subtitle options on the DVD. When I first met him he had this very soft, quiet voice and he talks really fast.
"I understood how my friends pretend to understand my Chinese mum when she's speaking English. You just kind of nod and go, 'Oh yeah'. If he laughs, you pretend to laugh a little, too. You don't want to say, 'Can you repeat that? Did you say volcano?'"
She added: "He does actually use a more English accent when he's speaking as Rush on Stargate Universe."
Stargate Universe continues Fridays at 9pm on Syfy in the US and Tuesdays at 8pm on Sky1 in the UK.
