Egglesfield's 'Brothers' scenes cut?

Colin Egglesfield's scenes in Brothers & Sisters have reportedly been cut.

The Melrose Place star had worked on the show's recent flashback episode, playing a young William Walker.

However, Zap2It reports that the scenes were removed from the final version of the programme for creative reasons.

Although the flashback was expected to cover 1986 and 1973, a spokesperson for ABC has now confirmed that no scenes from the 1970s will be broadcast.

ABC has reportedly not yet released an official statement, while a representative for Egglesfield had no comment.
