Julie Chen to front CBS chatshow?

CBS is reportedly developing a new show to rival ABC's The View.

According to the New York Post, Big Brother host Julie Chen will front the programme.

The show is expected to be aimed at mothers. Roseanne star Sara Gilbert, Real Housewives of New York City's Bethenny Frankel and Lisa Rinna have also been linked to the panel.

"It's a daytime panel show to take on The View, targeted at women with children and hosted by celebrities, journalists and regular mums," a source said.

"A pilot will be shot in early May."
