ABC orders new Shonda Rhimes drama

ABC has given a series pickup to a third medical drama from Shonda Rhimes.

Off The Map follows a group of doctors who leave the US to work at a clinic on a tropical island.

It joins Rhimes's Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy on the network's lineup for 2010-11. The cast includes Jason George, currently serving on Grey's.

Meanwhile, ABC also ordered Body Of Proof, a new crime drama starring Dana Delany of Desperate Housewives.
