FOX has announced a premature start for its Fall programming lineup.
The network has decided to "get out of the gate early" and bring forward the launch of several major shows to before baseball season.
New drama Prison Break leads the slate with a two-hour premiere on Monday, August 29 ahead of its time period debut the following week.
The third season of The O.C. will kick off Thursday, September 8; the same night as new partnered series Reunion.
The season premieres of The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad coincide on Sunday, September 11, with King of the Hill following a week later.
House has been given a Tuesday, September 13 start while Arrested Development and Malcolm in the Middle begin on Monday, September 19 and Friday, September 23 respectively.
Series premieres include forensic drama Bones (Tuesday, September 13), law sitcom Head Cases (Wednesday, September 14), cookery comedy Kitchen Confidential (Monday, September 19) and crime drama Killer Instinct (Friday, September 23).
