Five's 'Suburban Shootout' to air in US

The show being billed as "the British version of Desperate Housewives" has already found a home in the US.
Oprah Winfrey's Oxygen network has picked up the rights to the first series of Suburban Shootout, a black comedy following the lives of two wealthy housewives in the fictional Home Counties town of Little Stempington.
Graham Smith, commissioning editor of the Five-Paramount joint venture, said: "We welcome Oxygen's collaboration and anticipate a fruitful, long-term relationship."
The series is due to premiere on Five in January.
