Speaking to TV Guide Magazine, Thomas Jane explained that the relationship between his character Ray and his ex-wife Jessica (Anne Heche) will continue to be complicated.
"I think Ray is still in love with his ex-wife," he said. "What a terrible position to be in. I really empathise with the guy. But that's the truth. He wants his ex-wife back."
However, Rebecca Creskoff revealed that her character Lenore, who works as Ray's manager, is unhappy with the possibility of him reuniting with Jessica.
"She's trying to handle a lot of people to keep what she wants in line," she said. "I've made very strong efforts [to keep them apart], mostly by befriending Anne Heche's character. We end up becoming friends and it gets even more confusing."
Elsewhere, Sianoa Smit-McPhee explained that her character Darby will begin to get concerned by the attention her brother Damon (Charlie Saxton) gives her.
"I don't know that he steps over the line, but he's trying to become really good friends with Darby," she said. "It's kind of creepy. She kind of knows it but ignores it. You know, like, 'Damon's standing a little bit too close to me, but that's OK. We're related'."
Hung returns for its second season on June 27 at 10pm on HBO.
