HBO confirms extended 'Sopranos' season

As expected, the sixth season of The Sopranos will contain bonus episodes.
HBO has now confirmed that eight more episodes have been added to the original order of twelve. The first twelve will air beginning in March 2006, with the additional eight to air starting in January 2007.
