'Rescue Me' picked up for third season

FX in the US has picked up another season of Rescue Me.
The third season of the drama, which airs in the UK on Sky One, is expected to start airing in the States next year.
"We're extremely proud of this show, which is one of the very best television has to offer," said John Landgraf, president and general manager of FX.
