Ozzy Osbourne 'hated' reality show

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that he hated being a reality TV star and is relieved to have returned to his music career.

Speaking to Metal Hammer magazine, the rocker explained that his wife Sharon was the driving force behind reality show The Osbournes.

"You know what? That TV celebrity that I became, I f**king didn't like it," he said. "Sharon loves flying around the world and being a TV star. I don't. I can't stand it, because my heart is in music.

"I hated every second of it. She kept pushing me into this f**king stuff. I said, 'I tell you what, Sharon, don't even f**ing ask me, don't even go there with me in future, because I don't want to know'."

The former Black Sabbath frontman admitted that he wants to be remembered for his music rather than his on-screen antics.

"If it comes to the point, at the end of my days, [that] I'm going to be remembered as a chatshow host or something... well, I don't want that to happen, you know?"

The Osbournes aired on MTV between 2002 and 2005.
