Comic-Con Thursday lineup announced

Comic-Con organisers have announced the lineup for the first day of the convention.

As is traditional, the Thursday programme is film-heavy, with panels for TRON: Legacy, Angelina Jolie's Salt and Battle: Los Angeles.

Also featured are The Expendables and RED, plus TV shows Psych, White Collar and Dexter.

JJ Abrams and Joss Whedon will participate in a joint discussion session, while True Blood author Charlaine Harris has also been tapped for a spotlight panel.

The Nikita pilot will be screened the previous evening as part of the annual Preview Night.

Comic-Con runs July 21-25 in San Diego, CA.
