'Raymond' spin-off under consideration

Negotiations are apparently underway for a CBS spin-off of Everybody Loves Raymond, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Brad Garrett hinted at the possibility on Sunday during the Primetime Emmy Awards, and it seems that his words were not unfounded.
Everybody Loves Raymond ended its ninth season earlier this year and walked away with the awards for best comedy series, best supporting actress in a comedy for Doris Roberts, whilst Garrett himself took the award for best supporting actor.
The spin-off would focus on his character Robert Barone, his wife and in-laws. Garrett. Monica Horan, Fred Willard, Georgia Engel and Chris Elliott are being eyed for the show.
