Lost's Jorge Garcia received a surprise in return for writing to a dedicated fan.
The actor, who plays Hurley in the desert island drama, sent an autograph back to a woman who wrote him a letter, prompting a bizarre present to arrive in return.
"She sent me back some religious brochures, and a coupon for Slim-Fast," Garcia told The Mirror.
Garcia is also on a mission to convince producers to give his character a love interest, but has so far been unsuccessful.
"So far I haven't gotten any solid raunch. I'm more like the cuddly guy on the show," he recently complained. "There's a petition for Hurley to get some lovin' on the island, but the number of signatures has been pretty low. For a while I pleaded with fans, 'Come on, can we at least break 200?'"
