Carnie Wilson quits 'The Newlywed Game'

Carnie Wilson has decided to quit vintage gameshow The Newlywed Game after a year in the hosting chair.

People reports that the Wilson Phillips singer is parting company with GSN completely after two years.

"Carnie Wilson has been a member of the GSN family for the last two years. She will be pursuing other opportunities and we wish her the very best in all her endeavors," a channel spokesperson announced.

The Newlywed Game returned last year after nearly a decade away from screens.
