NBC has committed itself to a full season of My Name Is Earl, ordering nine more episodes of the comedy.
On the air for two weeks, Earl has given a much-needed boost to NBC's Tuesday night lineup.
"We are extremely encouraged by the response to Earl from the audience and critics alike," NBC entertainment chief Kevin Reilly told Variety, calling the show "a truly original TV comedy character that we hope will be around for years to come."
