'Supernatural' picked up for full season
Sci-fi thriller Supernatural is the latest series to be picked up for a full season.

The show, starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, follows two brothers in search of their father, fending off a relentless stream of evil forces on their way.

Over its first four episodes, Supernatural has grown to an average of 5.3 million viewers, backed by strong figures in the key demos. The order is for a total of 22 episodes.

“Supernatural has delivered in a huge way for us, with genuinely scary episodes every week, and it just keeps getting better,??? said David Janollari, entertainment president at the WB. “Eric Kripke, McG and Bob Singer have done a terrific job executing their vision and we expect the show to be a long-term player at The WB.???

Supernatural will air in the UK on ITV from January.
