The reality show - which premiered last night - sees fashion expert Roe guiding Plain Janes through a makeover process which includes a shopping trip, beauty styling and tips on improving their love lives.
When asked by DS if every story has a happy ending, she replied: "You'll have to watch and find out! There is lots of drama, I really can't say any more than that, but it's pretty dramatic.
"When I'm watching it, there are moments when I am welling up or nervous for them. It's pretty intense."
Roe went on to say that she "develops a bond" with each contestant and stays in touch with them after the filming has ended: "I care so much. I've had letters from the girls afterwards which is really touching. I want to know what happens."
Plain Jane continues next Wednesday at 9/8c on The CW.
