BBC World has expanded its broadcasting hours on BBC America.
Half-hourly bulletins in the morning have been replaced by a three-hour block from 6am to 9am (ET) every weekday. An evening newscast at 6pm (ET) will continue in its current slot.
"We also hope this new programming block will help us further increase the US audiences demand for the BBC World News channel 24/7," Jeff Hazell, BBC World's director of distribution, told Brand Republic.
